About The Position

Ensure Credit Union facilities are maintained with professionalism and attention to detail. This role involves managing commercial leasing properties, supervising vendors for maintenance and repairs, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and budgeting for facilities and projects. The specialist will also be responsible for campus maintenance, including power washing, snow removal, sweeping, and ground maintenance. Additionally, the role requires assisting with computer troubleshooting and moving, proficiency in Microsoft programs, creating and balancing reports, researching laws and codes, developing relationships with local officials, ensuring property safety, and addressing environmental issues with consultants. Special projects and tasks as assigned are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years’ experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use computer programs to track projects, make recommendations, write reports, document communication, and manage budgets.
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
  • Able to deal with high pressure situations in a professional manner.
  • Proficient at diagnosing problems and finding solutions.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance, attitude, and verbal communication.
  • Maintain a current driver license and a good driving record.
  • Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.
  • Lifting 70-80 pounds (items include desks, snow, garbage, office supplies, and other miscellaneous equipment).
  • Able to work outside with company machinery and tools.
  • Bending, Kneeling, Standing, Walking, and Reaching for long periods of time.
  • Monthly travel to north Idaho required.
  • Local travel, where a company vehicle is provided.
  • Adequate auto insurance for driving while conducting company business.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
  • Must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally manage commercial leasing properties.
  • Supervise vendors in the maintenance, cleaning and repair of credit union facilities.
  • Ensure effective communication, documentation and budgeting for assigned facilities, projects and task lists.
  • Maintain campus which includes power washing, snow removal, sweeping, and ground maintenance.
  • Assist in trouble shooting and moving computers.
  • Create, maintain, and balance various reports.
  • Research issues, laws, codes, and ordinances effectively.
  • Contact and develop rapport with various local officials to develop good relationships and ensure compliance with the law.
  • Keep ICCU properties safe from possible vandals by making police reports in the event of vandalism.
  • Work with environmental consultants to address environmental issues and ensure compliance with environmental protection laws.
  • Special projects and tasks as assigned.
