About The Position

We are looking for a Facilities Specialist to help keep our large building running smoothly. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks, from fixing equipment to managing waste and performing general maintenance. The position offers daily learning opportunities and the chance to develop practical skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Eager to learn and love being hands-on
• 18 years of age or over
• Able to maintain a safe workspace, paying attention to best practices and OSHA safety regulations
• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing 50 pounds without assistance
• Able to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
• Able to stand throughout entire shift
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping
• Must be able to pass equipment operation training

Responsibilities

• Complete basic household DIY-type projects
• Cardboard and garbage management throughout the building
• Replacing light bulbs
• Make minor repairs on various pieces of equipment and other broken stuff
• Painting, varnishing, staining, etc.
• Use basic power tools
• Complete other duties as assigned
