Requirements
- 5 years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems or equipment, or comparable trade school/training experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Knowledge of motors, transformers, lighting systems, electrical distribution equipment, and control circuits.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Other electrician levels may be considered for candidates with additional experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, motors, transformers, lighting, panels, controls, and other building infrastructure.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to electrical service calls.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Utilize electrical test equipment and a variety of hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify root causes of equipment or building-related issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.
- Support safe and reliable facility operations while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
