The Facilities Specialist maintains restaurants through preventative maintenance on all aspects of the restaurant. This role involves assisting the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level, performing facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants, and formulating preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities. The Specialist will also carry out set procedures for when facilities cease functioning or present a threat, train staff on facility management and maintenance, and ensure consistent adherence to maintenance practices. Additionally, they will conduct maintenance and repair seminars, provide comprehensive maintenance visit recaps to management, identify issues contributing to higher maintenance costs, and provide guidance on maintaining facility records. The role includes performing equipment and building repairs, new store turnover, and serving as a liaison between restaurants, landlords, contractors, and vendors. The Facilities Specialist will also assist the Operations Team in investigating facilities issues, represent facilities at operations management meetings, provide field support to the Development Department, and follow all Development Department guidelines. Other duties may be assigned to advance projects or resolve business issues.
