About The Position

ESFM is the corporate facilities management (FM) division of Compass Group USA. ESFM self-performs 80% of all FM services provided to clients, with a portfolio including Facilities Maintenance & Engineering, ESG Programming, Laboratory Support Services, Janitorial & Industrial Cleaning, Landscaping & Grounds Management, Workplace Solutions, and Managed Services. This self-performance model creates a consistent hospitality experience for clients, resulting in higher engagement and productivity from their employees. ESFM’s clients include many household names from the life sciences, technology, oil & gas, and manufacturing markets. This position provides support to the Engineering Manager to deliver excellent customer service to our corporate client. The role directly supervises in-house technicians and vendors across various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, architectural, plumbing, and Metrology). It involves overseeing the team and vendors, providing visual support, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, completing associated Planned Maintenance (PMS) for hard and soft service work centers, and ensuring world-class KPIs/OPIs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years facilities services industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of facilities management to include O&M, A/V, mail, pest control, waste management, vendor management service delivery while managing demanding clientele.
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Client relations and customer service oriented.
  • Team leadership abilities; staffing, recruiting, development and relations.
  • Planning, organization & system know-how.
  • Strong IT skills - Excel, Powerpoint, Word, MS Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Client services budget development and oversight. Provide financial reporting as required.
  • Assist in vendor contract development and procure goods and services through Compass and Client systems.
  • Manage requisitions, P.O.'s and receipt invoices upon delivery or completion of work.
  • Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and customer service focus.
  • Work closely with the site Unit Director on day-to-day operations and planning the facilities team's goals and objectives.
  • Seek to continuously improve processes, systems, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the department.
  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operations.
  • Encourages and nurtures associate creativity and innovation within the ESFM IFM program.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrates quality leadership in meeting performances plans.
  • Ensures proper staffing for within all Departments (O&M, Conference Services, Mail Services).
  • Manage the quality process as it relates to Business Support Services and set targets for quality improvement
  • Measure customer satisfaction and implement action plans for areas below standard
  • Manage small projects, as needed.
  • Develop reports and presentations; in support of quarterly and annual business reviews.
