As a member of our global ICC Facilities Contracts and Supplier Relationships Team, you will own and lead the strategic initiatives associated with third-party facilities Service Agreement (SA) contracts across GM manufacturing and non-manufacturing locations. You will be accountable for the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including scope integrity, commercial strategy, supplier performance, and financial outcomes. You will act as a contracts and supplier management subject matter expert, driving cross-functional alignment with Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services (GP&MS), Finance, Labor Relations, Legal, and site leadership to deliver optimal contract value and risk management. A core focus of this role is to own and drive cost savings and value creation, including developing cost strategies, leading financial risk forecasts, and preparing and executing robust 3rd party collective bargaining agreement (CBA) communication negotiation strategies and sourcing decisions. You will lead planning and support CBA-based strategies for 3rd party SA commercial discussions, ensuring competitive market positioning and responsible financial stewardship for GM. You will champion GMS and waste elimination by using performance data, root cause analysis, and structured countermeasures during monthly KPI reviews and routine performance reviews for facilities service agreements. You will also ensure effective contract management and compliance, including supplier safety obligations, sustainability expectations, and ongoing contract governance. This role requires strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills, as you will routinely lead complex initiatives, coach business partners, and help standardize best practices across GM sites.
