This role involves Maintenance Planning & Scheduling jobs for piping systems for Pipe, Boiler, and Fabrication Crews. The Facilities Scheduler will perform job planning, materials and labor estimating, stakeholder coordination, and scheduling work for repair, installation, and Preventive Maintenance activities. They will prepare methods, manning estimates, material packages, and coordinate schedules for job completion. Responsibilities also include technical correspondence with vendors, researching and writing purchase specifications, arranging and expediting deliveries, and monitoring/replenishing inventories for work crews. The scheduler will perform Job Hazard Analysis, coordinate risk mitigation (such as Lock Out Tag Out, Dig Safe, Fall Plans), and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is understood and established for safe job sites. They will assist in new system installation planning and maintenance strategy development, and utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage repair and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Work-orders from development to completion. Occasional direct supervision of jobs and work crews may be required. The position demands availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments, excellent communication skills, and a self-starter, team-player attitude.
