About The Position

Palm Beach Toyota, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a motivated Facilities Representative. The role maintains dealership buildings and services and repairs or replaces dealership equipment to help ensure maximum dealership production. The position also maintains the facility in accordance with PAG standards and performs routine grounds and building maintenance with quality, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Previous maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to learn on the job.
• Must be certified in both electrical and HVAC repair.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification of completing a 20-hour OSHA class.
• Forklift certification.
• Aerial lift certification.
• Ability to establish personal performance goals consistent with organizational productivity standards and devise a strategy to meet them.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions using common-sense understanding.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with few or no variables, and to solve problems involving concrete variables where standardization is limited.
• Ability to use independent judgment and discretion to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and calculate figures and amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups and positively influence employee morale.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

• General construction background.
• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Automotive dealership facilities experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dealership buildings and services.

• Maintain the facility in accordance with Penske Automotive Group standards.
• Perform routine grounds and building maintenance with quality and attention to detail.
