About The Position

Plan and implement relocation, logistics, furniture reconfiguration, service-request, warehouse, and facility-support projects. This role involves managing facility-related projects, including infrastructure, renovations, relocations, occupancy, workplace modernization, and closeout. The position requires developing and maintaining schedules, milestones, dependencies, action logs, budgets, estimates, and project documentation. It also involves coordinating various stakeholders, monitoring project status, and providing technical support for diverse environments while ensuring operational continuity. The role includes preparing various reports and supporting space planning and relocation efforts, ensuring compliance with Government requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an accepted combination of directly relevant education and experience consistent with the contractual labor category.
  • Minimum 11-13 years of related experience supporting a variety of projects, appropriate to the assigned PM level.
  • Experience with facility infrastructure and building systems.
  • Experience with laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, administrative, or comparable environments.
  • Demonstrated project scheduling skills.
  • Demonstrated risk management skills.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated customer-service skills.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated executive-presentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Government credentials and facility access.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage facility-related projects, including infrastructure, renovations, relocations, occupancy, workplace modernization, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, action logs, budgets, estimates, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate scientific, administrative, facilities, architecture/engineering, IT, vendor, and other stakeholders; facilitate and document meetings.
  • Monitor project status, resources, risks, issues, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance; recommend mitigation and corrective action.
  • Provide technical support for laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, office, and other mission-critical environments while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Prepare status reports, risk registers, change records, technical analyses, executive briefings, presentations, data-call responses, and closeout reports.
  • Support CAD drawings, space planning studies, relocation plans, customer engagement, and decision-support products as assigned.
  • Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, professional, current, and compliant with Government requirements and applicable federal facility practices.
  • Oversee laboratory relocations, personnel moves, furniture reconfigurations, staging, storage, inventory, and asset tracking.
  • Assess operational, environmental, sequencing, and human-factor impacts and develop contingency plans.
