Plan and implement relocation, logistics, furniture reconfiguration, service-request, warehouse, and facility-support projects. This role involves planning and managing facility-related projects, including infrastructure, renovations, relocations, occupancy, workplace modernization, and closeout. The position requires developing and maintaining schedules, milestones, dependencies, action logs, budgets, estimates, and project documentation. Coordination with various stakeholders such as scientific, administrative, facilities, architecture/engineering, IT, and vendors is crucial. The role also involves monitoring project status, resources, risks, issues, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance, and recommending mitigation and corrective actions. Technical support for laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, office, and other mission-critical environments while maintaining operational continuity is a key aspect. The position requires preparing various reports and presentations, supporting CAD drawings, space planning studies, relocation plans, customer engagement, and decision-support products. Ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, professional, current, and compliant with Government requirements and applicable federal facility practices is essential. Oversight of laboratory relocations, personnel moves, furniture reconfigurations, staging, storage, inventory, and asset tracking is also part of the responsibilities. Assessing operational, environmental, sequencing, and human-factor impacts and developing contingency plans are also required.
