About The Position

The Project Manager leads capital improvement projects and facility renovations from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires balancing multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. You'll manage the full project lifecycle including planning, procurement, execution, and closeout while maintaining clear communication with clients and identifying opportunities to enhance project value. This position combines technical construction knowledge with strong organizational and communication skills to deliver projects that support the client's operational needs and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in project management in facilities/construction field
  • Project Management certification
  • RS Means estimating software experience required
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closeout, developing project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress against established baselines
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and design consultants during planning phases to develop scope, review drawings, and ensure designs meet operational requirements
  • Oversee contractor selection, bid processes, and contract negotiations to secure qualified vendors while achieving competitive pricing
  • Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to monitor construction quality, address issues, and ensure contractor compliance with specifications and safety requirements
  • Manage project budgets and change orders, tracking expenditures and approving invoices while keeping stakeholders informed of financial status
  • Coordinate project activities with operations teams to minimize disruption to daily activities, scheduling work during appropriate windows and communicating impacts
  • Prepare project status reports and presentations for client leadership, documenting progress, risks, and key decisions while managing stakeholder expectations
