About The Position

RTX has an opening for a Facilities Project Coordinator (Sr. Analyst, Facilities) position located in Tucson AZ. In this role the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Manage small scope construction projects including defining scope, monitoring project, holding team meetings, evaluating completion of projects in home site as well as travel to and provide support for other Southwest regional sites. Create CAD based architectural and furniture plans to include complete construction documents for project bids. Produce detailed drawings and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, and steering committee meetings (Workplace Managers, Client Relationship Managers, Leadership, etc.) for review and feedback. Involve project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services. Responsible for facilitating meetings and interfacing regularly with business representatives. Provides leaders with illustrative project designs. Performs field survey and electronic documents using CAD software for architectural drawing accuracy. Responsible for coordinating and the procurement of office chairs and furniture sustainment. Works with vendors and other departments to ensure proposed plans are viable and cost effective. Participates in move coordination planning meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the construction or facilities area using AutoCAD plus a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology or other related degree or a combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Interface within management of construction of vertical and/or horizontal projects, which may include managing building maintenance and construction project objectives, EAC’s, schedules and quality control through project closure.
  • Working knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • 2+ years’ experience scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction including managing/overseeing multiple construction projects across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry regulations and practices as well as working knowledge of Building Codes and local amendments.
  • 1+ years’ experience using AutoCAD to prepare, modify, and maintain engineering, architectural, and facility drawings.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
