About The Position

The Facilities, Pipeline & Installations Engineer is an integral member of Seneca Resources’ Environmental Engineering team, providing engineering support for facility, pipeline, and installation projects from concept development through commissioning and closeout. The role applies engineering principles to design, field, operational, maintenance, reliability, and construction challenges, developing practical recommendations that balance safety, compliance, constructability, cost, schedule, production impact, reliability, and maintainability. The engineer designs and evaluates production facilities, separators, tanks, pipeline systems, and related infrastructure. The work includes developing and reviewing layouts, equipment arrangements, piping designs, pressure-control schemes, utility systems, pipeline routes, tie-ins, and mechanical installation concepts, as well as preparing and reviewing calculations, capacity evaluations, equipment sizing, pressure ratings, material selections, drawings, specifications, data sheets, and construction packages. The role leads or supports capital and operational projects, including project scoping, estimates, AFEs, design bases, schedules, execution plans, technical justifications, and material requirements. It coordinates engineering deliverables, contractors, equipment, outages, tie-ins, commissioning, and stakeholder dependencies, and monitors project scope, schedule, quality, and cost. It also provides field support during construction, installation, maintenance outages, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and startup; reviews field changes and deviations; and helps verify that installations meet approved engineering intent and turnover requirements. The engineer supports regulatory and operational needs, including Management of Change, technical submittals, inspections, audits, compliance reviews, incident investigations, contractor oversight, troubleshooting, maintenance, reliability improvements, CMMS data quality, and equipment replacement decisions. The position requires compliance with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards, and procedures, and active participation in EHSQ programs. The successful candidate must be authorized to work in the United States. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and is not eligible for relocation.
