About The Position

Renesas is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for its company owned 120-Acres site with 528,000 square feet under air spaces spread over 6 buildings housing semiconductor production, testing, and other support groups. Responsibilities include engineering support for facilities’ mechanical systems; HVAC, process piping, plumbing, fire suppression systems and industrial water plant (DI Water Plant). Responsibilities include design, AutoCAD drafting, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and materials/submittals review/approval. Maintain “as-built” plans, files and records of plant buildings, systems and equipment. Evaluate plant needs, short term and long-term strategic plans and provides best available solutions. Support operations and maintenance groups in trouble shooting existing systems and optimizing maintenance and operating performance and costs. Assure compliance with all applicable life safety, city, state and federal codes and regulations. Project management and supervise construction to comply with drawings, specifications, contracts and budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering work in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person (ITAR role).
