The annual salary range for this position is $43,438 - $56,469 | FLSA: Non-Exempt.

Requirements

High school or GED
2-5 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Technical training or certificate in electrical, HVAC or refrigeration.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

CFC certification preferred.
Computer experience desired.

Responsibilities

Attends in person classes to complete required educational curriculum for the state sponsored apprenticeship program.
Works under the supervision of licensed electricians gaining knowledge and experience through hands on instruction.
Assists in the maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical/ mechanical components of industrial equipment and systems (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, lighting, & compressed air systems).
Monitors plant equipment through PMs and daily logs (e.g., heating, ventilation, pumping, cooling, refrigeration, compressed air) to ensure proper temperature, pressure, and oil levels.
Dismantles machines or equipment and replaces defective parts and motors.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment, such as cleaning and lubricating shafts, gears, and bearings, using rags, brushes, grease guns, and oil cans.
Assists with troubleshooting and makes repairs to equipment utilizing diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
Documents equipment using PM Software to maintain accurate equipment history.
Learns to read and interpret basic electrical diagrams and blueprints.
Operates hydraulic articulating lifts to perform maintenance.
Uses Company LAN based computer system to: order parts and services related to repair and maintenance operations, check/create e-mail, browse internet for equipment manufacturer information, and submit leave forms.
