The Engineering & Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading plant engineering and maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of all equipment and facilities. This role oversees compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership of cross-functional teams, and effective management of capital and operational budgets. The manager also ensures optimal performance of critical systems including utilities, powerhouse equipment, and plant infrastructure. Drive compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including audits and implementation of safety programs. Oversee the maintenance management system to ensure proper utilization, tracking, and continuous improvement. Manage capital projects including design, budgeting, installation, and commissioning of plant equipment and systems. Supervise multidisciplinary teams and contractors to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures. Analyze and control engineering and maintenance costs while identifying opportunities for cost reduction and energy conservation.
