About The Position

Join Lincoln Tech as a Facilities Manager where you'll oversee campus operations, safety, and security across our educational facility onsite. You'll lead maintenance operations, manage inventory, and implement security protocols that protect our students, faculty, and staff while maintaining an environment that supports learning and growth.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in facilities management and security
• Knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes
• Understanding of fire codes and safety protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software

• Military or law enforcement background helpful

Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight of equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and building systems operations
• Manage campus inventory control systems and procurement processes
• Implement security protocols and emergency evacuation procedures
• Conduct quarterly safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire and building codes
• Assist Campus President with budgetary planning and expense management
• Oversee contractor work for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Monitor campus facilities to ensure optimal condition and functionality
• Supervise maintenance staff to repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, reassemble equipment, perform routine preventive maintenance, and ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building(s) does not deteriorate
• Detect criminal activity and reports appropriate matters to local law enforcement agencies for proper resolution
• Develop and implement proper evacuation procedures, to ensure effective egress of students and staff in the event of an emergency
• Ensure quarterly safety inspections are completed
• See to the inspection of hallways, classrooms, and office areas, to ensure compliance with state and local fire and building codes
• Assist the Campus President with budgetary matters, campus procurement, and expenses
• Oversee any assembling, installing and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment, in reference to staff or licensed contractors to perform jobs requiring permits
• Manage the maintenance staff or work performed by licensed contractors
