What this job involves: The Facility Manager ensures the proper operation of all aspects of a facility by establishing, operating, and maintaining a comprehensive facility management program. As the single point of contact for facilities management, you'll assist the Sr. Facilities Manager and/or Account Leader with delivering quality facility management services while coordinating tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
  • 5+ years industry experience in the corporate environment, third party service provider, or as consultant
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing both technical and administrative staff
  • Proficient in MS programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Computer proficiency in CMMS systems
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Sr. Facilities Manager and/or Account Lead in implementing short and long-term goals and projects for the client
  • Developing and implementing innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity
  • Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements based on client needs
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of the annual management plan for buildings within the area
  • Managing the development and execution of capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with client representatives
  • Completing all facilities-related reports accurately and on time following the client's policies for record keeping
  • Managing work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors
  • Leading facilities staff to deliver expected service levels within the prescribed budget
  • Ensuring client satisfaction by providing seamless interface between the client's real estate organization and facilities through leadership, responsiveness, and creativity
