About The Position
This position is for someone who has managerial and hands-on skills and who has the ability to hire, supervise, and direct Handypersons and contractors at a high-end social club and residential community. This position will require the capability to perform front-of-house client/contractor liaison meetings and/or discussions regarding the above outlined topics to best serve the client in a high-end social club and residential community in midtown Manhattan, NY.
Requirements
- Basic to advanced knowledge of repairs and maintenance for various building systems and finishes.
- FDNY Certificates of Fitness, if requested, must be obtained within a timely manner.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the repairs and maintenance of flooring, carpeting, painting, plastering, drywall, wall coverings, appliances, windows, doors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and porter maintenance.
- Hire, supervise, and direct Handypersons and contractors.
- Perform front-of-house client/contractor liaison meetings and discussions.
- Record keeping.
