About The Position

This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Huntington Bank property, including grounds and physical facilities. Responsibilities include all aspects of maintenance, construction, remodeling, and large project assistance. The role involves partnering with internal colleagues on projects related to Real Estate, Marketing, Security, etc., and providing management and oversight/liaison for vendors and contractors. Excellent communication skills, computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of building fire systems, emergency generator systems, and HVAC are required. The primary focus is to self-perform 40-60% of maintenance work. This includes project planning, budgeting, and all aspects of maintenance, construction, relocation, and remodeling at the corporate office. The role also involves supporting the Regional Facilities Administrator & Regional Facility Manager and providing event support for meetings, ceremonies, and gatherings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of Facilities Management experience.
  • Experience includes basic preventative maintenance, minor repairs involving plumbing, heating/cooling, basic electrical repairs, furniture moves, and the coordination and scheduling of maintenance with various vendors.
  • Prior experience working within and maintaining a budget for facility repairs & vendor proposal reviews.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Knowledge and skills related to building maintenance including HVAC, Building Fire Systems, and Emergency Generator Systems.
  • Ability to lift loads of up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good project management skills including budgeting and documentation.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Must be self-motivated requiring minimal supervision.
  • Possess a desire to promote "Best in Class" service through their actions.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Some travel to our Easton Facility may be required.
  • Trade Certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Facilities Management software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management, oversight, and liaison for vendors and contractors.
  • Perform project planning and budgeting.
  • Oversee and liaise with designated vendors and/or projects, reviewing work for quality assurance and scope of work compliance.
  • Complete required in-person & on-line training sessions.
  • Complete annual site assessments and record in Facility Management work order software program.
  • Provide support to the Regional Facilities Administrator & Regional Facility Manager.
  • Self-perform 40-60% of non-contracted services.
  • Provide event support for meetings, ceremonies, and gatherings.
  • Perform interim HVAC filter changes.
  • Perform lighting repairs.
  • Perform plumbing repairs.
  • Perform electrical repairs.
  • Perform exterior repairs.
  • Perform interior repairs.
  • Complete non-specific tasks as needed.
