The Facilities Management Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design or management of building and utility design. This role involves the maintenance of emergency power systems, annual maintenance of power distribution, and utilities planning to ensure proper supply for new equipment. The engineer will also maintain electrical spares inventory and breaker panel schedules. Additionally, the role includes project management for the Facilities Construction and Maintenance (FCM) Team, coordinating contractor activities, leading projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, and safety, and ensuring conformance to safety requirements. The position requires performing and overseeing planning, design, estimating, and execution of complex projects related to facilities maintenance, renovation, restoration, and equipment installation. The engineer will also develop RFQs, procure equipment and services, schedule project phasing and outages, and conduct on-site inspections. General FCM activities include maintaining budget control, participating in departmental goals, developing facility strategies for building value preservation, overseeing safety projects, performing audits, promoting technology and digitalization, supporting the Global Real Estate organization, and assisting the Energy Engineer with CO2 reduction and energy management analysis.
