Facilities Maintenance Worker
About The Position
OBJECTIVE: To represent Watertown Savings Bank in a courteous and professional manner by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service; coordinating outside service and repair calls for buildings; and performing a wide variety of manual maintenance tasks, including changing light fixtures and bulbs, moving furniture and office equipment, cutting grass and shrubbery, and completing special maintenance projects. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains consistent and reliable attendance during regularly scheduled working hours and is willing to work flexible hours for snow removal, vendor appointments, or urgent maintenance needs. Always maintains a neat and clean maintenance facility. Works independently, prioritizes tasks, and responds professionally. Performs routine repairs and maintenance at Bank buildings, including work involving plumbing, heating, electrical fixtures, lighting, doors, lock sets, painting, and cleaning. Inspects and troubleshoots problems, obtains outside contractors, and schedules repairs as necessary for building systems and equipment, including plumbing, heating, electrical, and air-conditioning systems. Safely operates vehicles and tools required for the position, including, but not limited to, a plow truck, Bobcat skid-steer, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and weed trimmers. Maintains all Bank property by completing required seasonal work, including grass cutting, weed trimming, shrubbery trimming, and snow and ice removal. Move and store furniture and office equipment as needed. Maintain Bank vehicles, tools, equipment, and maintenance areas. Make proactive recommendations for property upkeep and repairs. Inspects Bank property to identify needs for new plantings, flowers, or shrubs. Performs special cleaning tasks and routine painting. Performs other related duties as required or directed. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Significant tasks performed weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually. Maintain leased and foreclosed properties as needed. o Mowing o Changing Locks o Draining water lines o Property cleanup and repairs.
Requirements

- Proficiency in operating vehicles and tools required for the position, including a plow truck, Bobcat skid-steer, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and weed trimmers.
- Ability to perform medium physical exertion, occasionally exerting up to 80 lbs. of force, and frequently or constantly exerting up to 20 lbs. or 10 lbs. of force to move objects.
- Daily movement includes holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hand or hands.
