About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Laborer works under the direction of the Facilities Manager to support the cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall upkeep of club facilities and grounds. This role performs routine maintenance and basic repairs, assists with event setup and seasonal projects, and helps ensure the property remains operational, well-maintained, and member-ready in support of the club’s high standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or general labor preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance, and a consistent work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate tools, equipment, and basic facility systems
  • Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building maintenance and minor repair work, including painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical tasks.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe maintenance areas, storage rooms, and workspaces.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections and promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Operate, maintain, and store maintenance tools and equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Support seasonal property operations, including outdoor facility preparation.
  • Replace light bulbs, air filters, ceiling tiles, and other basic facility components as needed.
  • Assist with maintenance needs across the pool, locker rooms, fitness areas, dining spaces, and clubhouse.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from departments and management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and club standards.
  • Support outside contractors and vendors during service visits and project work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or General Manager.
