About The Position

Join New Deantronics! We’re seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our Sparks facility operating smoothly. This hands-on role supports our operations and warehouse teams by maintaining and repairing building systems and equipment.

Requirements

Experience in building/facility maintenance (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing)
Strong troubleshooting skills and safety mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Professional, courteous, and collaborative attitude
Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (safety-sensitive role)
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and complex instructions
Strong comprehension of written materials (checklists, memos, etc.)
Basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions
Skilled with hand and power tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication (written and verbal)
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams
18 years of age or older
Hands-on experience with equipment and systems maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical) (3-5 years preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with accommodations or support

Nice To Haves

Technical certifications preferred
OSHA-compliant forklift training/certification preferred
Certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus

Responsibilities
