Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Technician to help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of its building environment. The position is part of the maintenance department and focuses on facilities-related assets, working with the maintenance team to support plant performance and maintain a safe, clean work environment. The technician provides customer service to clients and maintains the reliability and performance of facilities assets, including the building, electrical systems, drains, HVAC, and compressed air. Duties include preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, breakdown response, vendor coordination, and keeping work areas clean. The role also involves following department and plant policies and safety protocols, conducting regular safety checks, and helping maintain accurate maintenance records and logs. This is an on-site position in Thornton, Colorado, reporting to the Plant Engineer. The compensation range is $32.00–$34.00; compensation depends on experience and other relevant qualifications. The listed closing date is 11/20/2026.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing.
- Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
- English proficiency is required.
