About The Position
Facility Maintenance Technician Are you looking to build a career alongside a growing and innovative company? If so, please read on! Weyland Ventures is looking to hire experienced Facilities Technician to join our Maintenance Team.
Requirements
- Minimum high school or GED required.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician
- Deadline, detail, and customer service-oriented
- Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (position requires local travel)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations are a plus!
Responsibilities
- Surveys buildings, ensuring consistency with health and safety standards.
- Conducts general upkeep and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing, appliance install, drywall repair, windows, etc.)
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Shares on-call rotation
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments homes for move-ins.
