About The Position
Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is a large healthcare management company with a significant presence nationwide. The Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center, a 118-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center for children and adolescents, is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Technician. This role involves performing a variety of semi-skilled tasks related to the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of the physical plant, building, and equipment. The position operates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and requires applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas: carpentry, painting, masonry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanics, security.
- One year experience in building maintenance and repair required
- One year experience in security preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the routine upkeep, maintenance and repairs to physical plant, building, and equipment.
- Painting- professional industrial/business
- Sheetrock/drywall repair
- Basic, general experience in electrical, plumbing, and maintenance repair.
