About The Position

The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) in Springdale, Arkansas is seeking a Facilities / Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift to support a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled machining and repair facility employing approximately 200 employees. The role involves performing preventative and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and production support equipment, troubleshooting industrial machinery, and maintaining various facility systems. The position requires the ability to interpret technical documentation, perform various types of fabrication and repairs, and maintain accurate documentation. The role also includes operating powered industrial vehicles and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed or certified electrician or strong industrial electrical background.
  • Calibration Technician experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Technical trade school degree or apprenticeship in electrical, maintenance, mechatronics, millwright, or related field.
  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment, Fanuc controllers, motors, drives, and control systems.
  • Experience maintaining FPI, X-ray, forge, and heat treat equipment, including IPSEN, ABAR, and GE systems.
  • Familiarity with Preventative Maintenance programs, and SAP ERP systems.
  • Experience working in FAA-regulated, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and production support equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues involving Fanuc controllers, electrical systems, motors, drives, sensors, and control components.
  • Support maintenance and troubleshooting of FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection), X-ray, and forge equipment, including systems from IPSEN, ABAR, and GE.
  • Support heat treat and forge operations, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with process and quality requirements.
  • Maintain facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air, and electrical distribution.
  • Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting, including control wiring, panels, relays, switches, and basic PLC-related diagnostics.
  • Support calibration activities for gauges, instruments, and measurement devices in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to perform repairs and installations.
  • Perform sheet metal fabrication, welding, soldering, brazing, carpentry, masonry, and general building maintenance as required.
  • Execute Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks including inspections, lubrication, filter changes, air line maintenance, and continuous improvement of PM programs.
  • Support cart management, including inspection, repair, organization, and preventative maintenance of production carts and material handling assets.
  • Safely move machinery, equipment, and materials using rigging techniques, forklifts, booms, scissor lifts, hoists, and hand/power tools.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including preparation, documentation, and corrective actions related to maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, calibration, and repair documentation, including ERP system records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Teams and Outlook for communication, coordination, and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company, FAA, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to operate or become qualified to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Ability and willingness to complete required PIV and hoist training within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
