The Pratt & Whitney Mobile Services Dallas group is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician to support our growing FAR 145 repair station in Dallas, TX. Pratt & Whitney’s Aviation Maintenance Technician will provide aircraft engine maintenance/repair and/or quick turn aircraft engine maintenance within our Dallas based shop. In this role, you may provide engine troubleshooting, aircraft engine repairs, aircraft engine module removal and replacement, and/or line maintenance (including LRU removal and replacement). In this role you will play an important role within our P&W Line Maintenance Services (LMS) organization FAA 145 repair station. The focus of LMS is to provide our customers with increased value through alternative and flexible tailored maintenance solutions. Pratt & Whitney Dallas, TX, is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40. This role is: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
