Facilities Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Crystal Mountain is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their Building Maintenance team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing buildings and equipment, including resolving complex maintenance issues. The position is located at Crystal Mountain, Washington, and offers a wage range of $23.00 - $27.00 DOE. Crystal Mountain is part of Alterra Mountain Company and is described as the Pacific Northwest’s premier destination for skiers, snowboarders, and summer adventurers, fostering a community rooted in the spirit of the mountains and a passion for adventure.
Requirements
- Five+ years or more of related experience in general maintenance work.
- Substantial experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, general building systems and related areas as necessary.
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties.
- Basic ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to identify and resolve potential safety and security problems.
- Ability to Ski or Ride safe and in control.
Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance of building(s), including painting, electrical, and general repairs.
- Resolves complex maintenance problems.
- Keeps related records.
- Completes repair projects and minor remodels.
- Reports and resolves building problems.
- May order maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Maintains equipment and tools.
- May coordinate work of contractors, as assigned.
