About The Position

Metalsa is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician with advanced HVAC expertise to support safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of facility systems to ensure uninterrupted production and a safe working environment.

Requirements

Master HVAC license (or state-recognized equivalent), in good standing
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial facility maintenance preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and environmental controls
Diagnose issues and complete repair and/or replacement of HVAC components, equipment, and related systems
Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical systems, lighting, pumps, boilers, and general facility infrastructure
Support building automation systems (BAS), fire alarms, emergency lighting, security systems, and backup power systems
Complete general facility maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, and facility upkeep
Diagnose equipment failures, document maintenance activities, and recommend improvements to reduce downtime
Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and support facility efficiency initiatives
