About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a multi-skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician who enjoys variety, solving problems, and seeing the direct impact of their work every day. In this role, you’ll maintain and improve our facilities, troubleshoot issues before they become problems, and help create a safe, efficient environment for our team. This position reports to the corporate office Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30pm with a 2 week on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related mechanical field
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general construction trades
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve problems independently
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively without constant supervision
  • A team-first mindset with solid communication skills
  • Commitment to safety standards and best practices (OSHA awareness)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours or emergency response

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and proactively address issues before they disrupt operations
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and facility equipment to ensure reliability and safety
  • Handle general repairs and upkeep, including drywall, painting, carpentry, and fixture replacement
  • Maintain and repair lighting, outlets, switches, and minor electrical systems
  • Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs
  • Repair and maintain doors, locks, and hardware to ensure security and functionality
  • Assist with workspace reconfigurations, including office furniture and modular systems
  • Partner with and support external contractors working onsite
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including mechanical rooms and shops
  • Respond to on-call needs and facility emergencies as part of a shared rotation
