The Facilities Maintenance Technician is required to shower before entering and leaving the barrier shield. This role involves performing electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair on machinery, equipment, and HVAC systems. Key responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery, and managing spare parts inventory. The technician will also execute Preventive Maintenance Schedules, special projects, and area repair requests, while strictly adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. The position requires following technical specifications, wire schematics, blueprints, and job orders to meet production schedules. The technician is expected to recommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, and to respond to alarm calls related to equipment or building conditions. Additional duties include assisting in maintaining facility equipment lists, equipment files, and repair history, operating Johnson Control systems for basic commands, and performing equipment calibration. The role also involves assisting in other areas as required.
