About The Position

American Repair Maintenance (ARM) is a data-driven, full-service repair, and preventative maintenance partner across all trades serving over 20,000 locations in the US. We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our service delivery team to deliver the highest standard of commercial maintenance and customer service to our clients. This role is ideal for a skilled commercial technician who is detail-oriented, a self-starter, and enjoys travel, variety, and autonomy within a supportive, growing company. The technician will be responsible for completing service tickets in a designated territory in a cost-conscious, high-quality, and timely manner, maintaining clear communication with supervisors and office staff, and adhering to all policies and procedures for safe working conditions.

Requirements

7+ years of commercial maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, drywalling, carpentry, flooring, masonry, EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems), welding, and advanced structural repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent vocational certification(s).
Proven mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency in reading assembly and blueprint drawings.
Provide own reliable transportation with capacity to transport tools and equipment.
Comfortable and proficient with technology, including the use of industry-specific software, mobile applications, and digital tools.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to operate tools capable of producing up to 200 pounds of torque.
Ability to perform work while bending, stooping, standing, sitting, and lying down.

Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and proficiency in reading assembly and blueprint drawings to deliver exceptional service with minimal direct supervision.
Act as the eyes and ears in the field, responsible for completing service tickets in a designated territory in a cost-conscious, high-quality, and timely manner.
Maintain clear lines of professional communication with lead technician(s), supervisor(s), Manager(s), and office staff on open issues and progress of all work assigned, including thorough documentation.
Be flexible and cooperative with fellow employees and customers while displaying a high level of professionalism.
Follow all policies and procedures to ensure proper and safe working conditions.
Drive up to 500-2000 miles per week to client sites with paid mileage reimbursement.
Meet the demands of a flexible and adaptable schedule, including on-call, overnight, and weekend availability; some assignments may require short overnight travel (1–4 nights).
Provide own reliable transportation with capacity to transport tools and equipment such as an extended ladder, sheet rock, sewer machine, hand tools, and toolbox.
Be comfortable and proficient with technology, including industry-specific software, mobile applications, and digital tools to complete work orders, communicate with team members, and document service activities.
Lift up to 75 lbs.; operate appropriate tools capable of producing up to 200 pounds of torque, and perform work while bending, stooping, standing, sitting, and lying down.
