Facilities Maintenance Technician II (3rd Shift)

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you’ll play a key role in sustaining a safe, reliable, and inclusive work environment. In this highly visible role, you’ll help ensure our facilities operate at peak performance so teams can continue delivering technologies that improve and save lives. This role is fully onsite in Jacksonville, third shift: 10PM – 6:30AM
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in Facilities/Maintenance
- HVAC experience
- Uses hand and power tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- HVAC Certification
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
Responsibilities
- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
- Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment
- Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment
- Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding
- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
