About The Position

Omnia360 Facility Solutions is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join its team at an educational institution in Columbus, Ohio. The role supports facility operations by providing timely, high-quality service and performing general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and small project work. The technician also oversees subcontractor activity, building audits, and preventive maintenance, and uses a CMMS work order system. The position is full-time, first shift, with pay of $22.00–$26.00 per hour depending on experience and skills.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
More than five years of general maintenance experience.
Basic computer knowledge, including work order systems and email.
Ability to complete required safety classes.
Personal hand tools.
Ability to pass BCI and FBI background checks and a drug screen.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Craft license or certificate in one trade, especially HVAC, carpentry, or electrical.

Responsibilities

Ensure service delivery to the client is timely and of the highest quality.
Repair and troubleshoot facility electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Perform minor troubleshooting of faulty electrical systems and circuits.
Perform minor HVAC preventive maintenance and replace filters.
Replace door locks and hardware.
Repair and maintain floors, stairways, partitions, drywall, paint, doors, windows, and furniture.
Oversee subcontractor activity, building audits, and preventive maintenance.
Perform small project work.
Use the CMMS work order system.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
