About The Position

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, this Part Time position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields such as Heating & Air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, custodial, and landscaping. The role also involves managing and tracking work orders, responding to alarm systems, assisting with moves, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting and drywall, carpentry.
  • Self-motivated and customer service oriented.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and situations.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to provide a 39-month MVR to demonstrate a good driving record.
  • Must possess an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must possess CPR/First Aid certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Three to five years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs minor HVAC maintenance including filter replacement, coil cleaning, and thermostat/fan motor replacement.
  • Performs electrical maintenance such as replacing fixtures, ballasts, sockets, fuses, and minor appliances.
  • Performs plumbing maintenance including water heater replacement, leak repair, and drain unclogging.
  • Performs appliance maintenance for ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Performs minor painting and drywall repair.
  • Performs landscape maintenance including drip irrigation repair and tree trimming.
  • Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on building equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Performs custodial duties such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and facility disinfection.
  • Manages and tracks work orders and requests through the Facilities ticketing system.
  • Responds to facility burglar and fire alarm systems.
  • Assists with departmental and employee moves.
  • Completes daily work assignments as assigned.
  • Performs meeting setup and breakdown as needed.
  • Orders building, janitorial, and maintenance supplies.
  • Performs weekly inventory of hygiene and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Conducts and documents regular weekly van inspections.
  • Conducts and documents monthly and quarterly fire drills.
  • Complies with all safety procedures and requirements.
