About The Position

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical issues, installing or upgrading systems, documenting work, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role may involve a variety of tasks, from calibrating machinery to fabricating parts. 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Requirements

A strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
The ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
Understanding of how mechanical systems operate and how to fix them.
The ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and follow instructions.
Familiarity with computer systems for documentation and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Install new mechanical systems and upgrade existing ones.
Test mechanical components for functionality and performance.
Use diagnostic skills to identify the root cause of mechanical problems and implement solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair activities, and inspections.
Work with other technicians and engineers to solve complex problems, assist in the design process, and coordinate repairs.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Operate various hand and power tools.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
