About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician maintains the safety, functionality, and professional appearance of credit union facilities and equipment, supporting daily operations and member experience. Responsibilities

  • Conducts thorough inspections and performs maintenance and repairs on all interior and exterior facility components, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and professional standards.
  • Executes preventive maintenance schedules, documenting and analyzing equipment performance trends to anticipate potential issues and minimize downtime.
  • Maintains accurate service logs and maintenance records, submitting detailed reports on the condition and functionality of facilities to management.
  • Responds to facility-related issues through an organized service ticket system; ensures timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Organizes and maintains tools, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with safety codes and best practices.
  • Provides support for facility setup needs for meetings, events, and operational changes.
  • Participates in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency repairs or urgent facility-related concerns.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities in building systems, equipment, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborates effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal departments while maintaining a high degree of autonomy in task execution.
  • Complies with all safety, security, and compliance protocols; maintains current knowledge through regular training.
  • Maintains a member first mindset.
  • Upholds core values and builds team member and customer relationships.
  • Completes all training as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
