About The Position

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and equipment across multiple Massachusetts facilities, including manufacturing, laboratory, office, and critical infrastructure environments. This role supports day-to-day operations, preventive maintenance activities, capital projects, and emergency response efforts to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant facility operations. The Electrician will work closely with Facilities, EHS, Engineering, and external contractors to maintain electrical distribution systems, support equipment reliability initiatives, and minimize downtime across the Massachusetts Hub sites. Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

Requirements

5+ years of Facilities/Electrician experience
Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA requirements, and electrical safety standards including LOTO and arc flash protection
Experience using a CMMS system (eMaint, Maximo, SAP, or equivalent) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and asset history

Nice To Haves

Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with technicians, contractors, engineers, and site customers
Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and controls platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, or Honeywell
Familiarity with cleanroom protocols or ISO-classified environments
Experience supporting medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cleanroom, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
Familiarity with ISO 8 cleanrooms and critical environmental systems
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
