Requirements

Ability to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
Ability to perform testing and monitoring of facility to meet safety, regulatory, and quality performance standards.
Ability to assist in setting up equipment, workstations, and work cells.
Ability to insert tools into machines and make adjustments.
Ability to maintain production and quality logs/records.
Ability to maintain tools and work area to 5S and safety standards.
Ability to repair or replace defective parts on machinery or within the facility.
Ability to start machines to test performance and assist workers with basic machine adjustments or repairs.
Ability to assist Janitorial department with duties.
Ability to make runs with company vehicle to pick-up and drop off parts and equipment.
Ability to shovel snow, treat grounds with ice melt, and operate a snow blower.
Adherence to all company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Follows Good Manufacturing Practices.
Provides feedback and pro-active communication to supervisor, management, and co-workers.
Contributes input to management based on knowledge of processes.
Ability to provide other department and manufacturing support as requested.

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities. Maintains documentation of same.
Performs various testing and monitoring of facility to meet safety, regulatory and quality performance standards.
Assists in the setting-up of equipment, workstations, and work cells.
Inserts tools into machines and makes adjustments such as timing, indexing, feed rate, speed, sensing devices, and other machine parts that conform to engineering specifications and standards.
Maintains production and quality logs/records.
Maintains tools and work area to 5S and safety standards.
Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery or within the facility.
Starts machines to test their performance, and assists workers with basic machine adjustments or repairs.
Assists Janitorial department with all janitorial duties and responsibilities.
May be required to make runs with company vehicle to pick-up and drop off parts and equipment.
Shovel snow, treat grounds with ice melt and operate snow blower in winter months.
Adhere to all company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
Follows the official policy for Good Manufacturing Practices as required in the Medical Device Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
Provides feedback and pro-active communication to supervisor, management, and co-workers to ensure efficient and effective operations. Contributes input to management based on knowledge of processes toward process and product improvement efforts of the company.
Provide other department and manufacturing support as requested by immediate supervisor.
Additional duties may be assigned.
