Under direction, plans, schedules, supervises and inspects the maintenance, repair, servicing and minor construction of District and Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) buildings, facilities and related equipment; prepares technical scopes of work to be performed by contractors, and supervises and inspects work to ensure District/SNWA standards are met; coordinates the scheduling and completion of work with other divisions and departments; and performs related duties as assigned. A Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising and inspecting the work of employees and contractors engaged in maintaining, repairing and upgrading District/SNWA buildings, facilities and related equipment. Incumbents are typically assigned responsibility for specific campuses and facilities. Employees plan maintenance, repair and minor construction work orders and projects, and supervise and inspect work performed to ensure conformance with District/SNWA standards and contract requirements. Duties and responsibilities are carried out with considerable independence within the framework of established policies, procedures and guidelines. Work and results are reviewed through inspection and analysis of records, reports and completed work orders.
