About The Position

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to help ensure facility operations remain safe, reliable, and efficient. The role involves hands-on maintenance and repair of production equipment and building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems. The specialist will work with experienced maintenance staff, gain exposure to a variety of facility systems, and help maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Trade-related training.
• Manufacturing experience; food production experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and building systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from plant staff and management.
• Complete repairs in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Assist with welding, cutting, and pipe fitting as needed.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized maintenance or repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other facility equipment safely.
• Follow schematics, prints, and instructions to complete tasks independently.
