About The Position

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at ICON, you will contribute to the administrative services function and work collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes. You will be responsible for facilities and workplace management deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency. The role is based in Portland, Oregon, and requires approximately 5% travel as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 5%.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or vocational training in facilities maintenance or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure as necessary.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and repairs.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment to ensure availability and readiness.
• Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
