About The Position

The Facilities & Maintenance Specialist provides facility preventive maintenance and asset management services by completing a variety of ongoing tasks. The role maintains buildings, vehicles, equipment, utilities, and inventory, and supports deliveries and purchasing reconciliation. The position is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is full-time on the first shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience maintaining facilities, or equivalent maintenance- and facilities-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled routine preventive maintenance on facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure efficient functioning of systems.
• Maintain assigned buildings, including custodial upkeep and equipment setup.
• Complete assigned building repairs.
• Perform building upkeep, including painting and repairing windows, walls, and doors.
• Maintain building utilities, including heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Maintain storeroom inventory and deliver supplies as ordered.
• Pick up and deliver donations and/or materials as necessary.
• Maintain a list of current suppliers and system repair contacts.
• Provide purchase receipts and reconcile invoices with delivered goods.
