About The Position

Progressive and growing master distributor of industrial fasteners seeks a skilled Maintenance professional with the responsibility to ensure consistent, thorough facilities hygiene and capability to provide mechanical/technical troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and asset installation. This is a team-play environment with friendly, knowledgeable staff oriented toward success and high-quality service to our customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally with others.
  • Ability to utilize electrical and mechanical maintenance tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders while carrying material.
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work Power Equipment (Forklift, Reach truck, etc).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to complete instructions accurately and safely.
  • Strong reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in maintenance, repair, facilities support, or mechanical work.
  • Certifications or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or equipment operation.
  • Familiarity with gauges, measurement tools, and preventive maintenance processes.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and computer set-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas using 6S and housekeeping best practices.
  • Support maintenance work orders and daily schedules in an ACT manner.
  • Assist with inventory control of tools, MRO supplies, instruments, and facility assets.
  • Perform planned and preventive maintenance (PPM) on equipment as assigned.
  • Ensure machinery, tools, and facility assets are properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Follow all OSHA, environmental, safety, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to efficiency improvements, cost-reduction efforts, and operational problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and engagement in ongoing training and development.
