About The Position

This entry level position is full-time permanent. It comes with competitive base pay and a $1.50/hr shift differential along with a benefit program that includes PTO and 401K. The Associate Facilities Representative will support the daily operations and maintenance of McKesson Corporation's facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience.
  • May have vocational qualification.
  • Experience in a facilities, maintenance or service support role within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment.
  • Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments.
  • Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc.).
  • Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA.
  • Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating various Power Equipment would be considered a strong asset.
  • Location is willing to train those that are willing to learn, but, must be able to maintain certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility projects, including scheduling and access.
  • Support space planning and office reconfigurations, including furniture moves and layout adjustments.
  • Manage inventory of facility supplies and equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve employee requests related to facility services (e.g., temperature control, lighting, minor repairs).
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform minor repairs and general upkeep tasks as needed.
  • May provide administrative support to the Facilities Management team.
  • Be open to learning facility related tasks from other members.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
