About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance and repairs of assigned buildings and facilities. The role distributes daily work assignments, encourages department productivity, maintains current repair records, and manages daily work orders through processing, monitoring, and closure. The manager also performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic technical and repair knowledge of maintenance processes, particularly safety guidelines and parameters, inspection and repair of major components, mechanical and electrical/electronic systems, HVAC, structural components, and building and grounds maintenance.
• Operational knowledge of mandated safety principles related to personal protective equipment, chemical hazards, lockout/tagout, and general shop safety and cleanliness practices.
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel, and familiarity with vehicle maintenance information systems and work-order processes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly with the Director of Maintenance and other employees.
• Knowledge of basic part and component replacement processes.
• Ability to carry out assignments promptly and in a timely manner.
• Obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License in good standing with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
