We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations, maintenance strategy, and infrastructure improvements at our Gainesville manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, technical expertise, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will lead the facility maintenance team and ensure our plant infrastructure and systems operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You'll work closely with production, engineering, contractors, and leadership to keep our operations moving forward.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Maintenance, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading maintenance teams
  • Experience with CMMS systems, SAP, or other ERP platforms
  • Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC Certification
  • Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality standards
  • Experience managing facility infrastructure projects and contractor relationships

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the facility maintenance team
  • Manage facility maintenance activities supporting manufacturing operations
  • Coordinate installation of new equipment and facility infrastructure projects
  • Oversee contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair work
  • Establish and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor equipment performance to reduce planned and unplanned downtime
  • Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain company buildings, grounds, utilities, and fleet vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and facility regulations
  • Partner with production teams to improve operational reliability and efficiency
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventories, and resource planning
