About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Lead manages the proper day to day operations of the Facilities Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Support Programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid state driver’s license and meet the company’s insurability requirements.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • 3-5 years’ experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified in the essential functions.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of general building maintenance.
  • Ability to read and understand OEM maintenance and parts manuals.
  • Ability to travel to other National facilities and remain overnight with short notice
  • Ability to work a shift schedule such as 20 days on/ 10 days off which can include nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer relations skills required.
  • Knowledge of use of PPE and safety protocol related to the possible exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, vapors, or mists that could potentially affect the health of the employee.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the efficient operation of the Facilities Maintenance shipping and receiving areas as well as the Facilities stockroom.
  • Manages work schedules with contractors, and supervises internal labor as required to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Tracks assigned incidental to the receipt, storage, issuance and supervise the transfer and shipping of facilities stock
  • Train contractors / vendors on PPE and safety protocols for working in the Warehouse.
  • Completes and maintains records, forms and reports (by computer or otherwise) necessary to accomplish assigned duties.
  • Manages the inventory and orders the materials and supplies needed for projects.
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks of a general nature, such as servicing, cleaning and repairing the facility.
  • Ensures that all work is performed to National Airlines’ quality standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promotes and actively engages in continuous improvement activities.
  • Additional functions as delegated by the Manager of Facilities, GSE, & Tooling.
  • All other duties as assigned.
